Cognitive Shift strived into existence before the first full moon of May 2007. Having had a great interest in electronic music and the endless ways one can stretch and manipulate sounds, I started working on several projects just for gaining experience on software and hardware. Now, still developing my sound,the new year found me with 10 tracks under my belt some of which are uploaded in this very profile. Meanwhile, i have been researching a lot into the psychedelic culture, reading up on Timothy Leary, Aldous Huxley and other great psychonauts and got interested in the amazingly strange relationship between humans and psychedelia(and dare I say music). This definitely affected my songwriting as my main goal is to make the perfect soundtrack to a psychedelic experience. Have been looking for a label and I'm also on the look-out for a second member to form thus a duo(check blog). Weapons of choice:Software:Propellerhead Reason3,4, Steinberg Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools(and a bit of FL studio for my spare time :)) Hardware:E-mu Xboard 25.All tracks are being constantly remixed to achieve the best possible results,thanks for dropping by,have a good day :)
