Leah Kauffman was born and raised outside of Philadelphia. Only minutes out of the womb, her father claimed that she had "piano fingers." At four, she began to study classical piano. Her family nurtured and supported her by playing fantastic music around the house, so that by the age of 15 she was writing her own music on both the piano and guitar. Her first songs were about nature, love, and the nature of love. However, as she grew older, her realm of experience also grew. Now, at 21, Leah is devoting her time to both music and college. She has recently been recording with the legendary SuperRick, and playing with the psychedelic trip hop band Alien Architect. And yes-- if you're wondering, she is the "box in a box girl."
