I've been playing the guitar for nigh on four years now, I've been writing my own music for just about two years. I like debating and am obsessed with juggling and circus stuff like that - spinning plates and diabolos. Blah.. I like travelling and learning languages and stuff like that.
I'd love to meet nice people! Nice people who aren't petty or judgemental. I'd love to meet Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand. Sin é really, I've met a lot of my other favourite musicians!
Am into mostly indie and alternative rock music - The Frames, Bell X1 and Franz Ferdinand being the top three. Duke Special, Elephant, The Polyphonic Spree, Interpol, Erin McKeown, Josh Ritter, Mic Christopher, Damien Rice, kinda getting into Jack Johnson nowadays. Arcade Fire, Turn, Dwight, The White Stripes, REM, Radiohead and Mundy would all be up there too.
Not really into movies nowadays to be honest.. They're all pretty much the same to me.. I love Wayne's World 1&2, Empire Records, Donnie Darko, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Finding Nemo, Chicken Run, Monsters Inc, anything involving The Muppets.. anything at all.. However much I try to deny it I am a fan of the aul girly movies - Mean Girls and Legally Blonde and Bridget Jones and stuff like that.
The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, QI, those sort of BBC news-related programmes like Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You.
His Dark Materials trilogy, The Princess Bride, Vote for Larry trilogy, Animal Farm, The Solitaire Mystery.
