i need to read more. i keep saying this but it seems as if i never have time to do anything about it. there's always something more pressing than sitting down and reading a book. the only time i have when i find myself sitting bored happens to be those hours where i'm driving. or sitting in a lecture that i'm just too a.d.d. to pay attention to. and that is partially because the art history desks have wheels. whose dumb idea was that, to give art students wheels? i can't pay attention to normal human speech when i have wheels, let alone be able to focus enough to read a book. and well, i don't think i should be reading while driving either. when i'm not moving the books you're most likely to find me with are my bible and a now well-read copy of david crowder's book "praise habit." i like his new one too "everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die" co-authored with mike hogan. good stuff. david crowder writes very much like i do and i find a good deal of joy in his sense of humour. read his stuff if you haven't. other things i enjoy reading: books on photography and art history, my now-missing maus novels (my mother stole them), and i also collect vintage nancy drew mysteries.
Jesus.
