About Me

We are continuing to build a network of local music fans and bands to help keep the music scene strong here in Fairfax. We have been hosting live music 7 nights a week for 21 years. Mostly rock, reggae, funk, hip hop, blues and roots music. Many of the bands that play here have myspace sites, and we use myspace to find new talent and communicate directly with bands and their fans/friends. We beleive that direct links like myspace will serve to help independent musicians build successful careers outside the major label machine. Venues like 19 Broadway, and networking tools like myspace, are some of the few places left that can usher in a new era of creativity based on the direct communication between artists and people who love and appreciate music.
