We are SCIPART a regional member of IPART and are part of the TAPS family. "We're here to help!"Iowa Ghost HuntersWhat we do:We are scientists observing the possibility of the paranormal. We observe only, we do not conjure or try to make something manifest.Equipment:The biggest piece of equipment we use is a laptop for recording audio along with a parabolic microphone. Also a digital camera, DVR, red flashlight, emf detector, and thermometer are just the basic items we use. I do not require everybody to have all these items right off the bat; however by the 2 nd investigation you will be required to at least start having your own equipment.We use some very sophisticated software on our laptops and computers at home to record audio and review. This will be provided to you at no cost. There is other software that will be needed and will be provided.After the investigation, all investigators are required to fill out reports, listen to their audio for evp's, and upload all your evidence to our server in a timely fashion. Reports are needed in 2 days, all pics and raw audio files need uploaded within 2 or 3 days and your results from you going through your audio need to be done by the end of the week, Then, I will make out the finial reports for our client.

Must think skeptically and scientifically foremost...3. Must be able to go on 2-3 investigations Each month...4. Must be a real team player and work well with others...5. Must show no fear and must want to help our clients...6. Must have reliable transportation to and from to our cases...7. Must be physically fit to keep up with the 24 hour pace of an investigation... Must be willing to stay awake all night sometimes...8. Must email us frequently and help us all go over the ton of evidence we collect at every investigation...9. Must have a computer & internet connection the higher the speed the better...10. Must wear the IPART t-shirts at investigations & promote the team the website and the PART mentality of skeptics first believers second.. IPART is a non profit organization we don't charge anything!
