About Me

I am a watercolour artist living and working in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, in Quetico country. I spend a lot of time canoeing the rivers and lakes and travelling the back roads throughout this area looking for scenes to paint. Lately I have been broadening my horizons by painting scenes with people, boats and buildings! My painting style is probably best described as representational with a strong bias towards impressionism. I particularly enjoy painting en plein air and love getting a scene down on paper in less than an hour! All of my paintings in the Watercolour folder are for sale. Serious inquires only please for prices and details.

My Interests

Watercolour painting, canoeing, camping, hiking, travelling, writing, reading, XC skiing, galleries, museums, fine dining (vegetarian), movies.
