New and not so improved...

About Me

I am still tired all the time. However it is not the wearies of the world which tire me. Instead it is the kind of tired where you feel like you have made progress. A day's wage well earned. The reason why is simply; I met a girl who caught my eye. We spoke of games and body art. And straight from there she stole my heart. I know it sounds kinda mushy but my baby makes my knees all slushy.

My Interests

I have always been fond of science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as various other types of books. I had a long stint as a RPG'er; the old school kind like d&d. Movies of all types are appealing to me, however I would not say I like all movies. I have a minor talent for sketching, but seldom have the conviction to follow any through to true art. I am thoroughly addicted to video games of many types, though due to a relatively late start, my skills are not what they could have been I'm sure. Other than that, like many people, I have a great many other interests and things I like to do.

I'd like to meet:

someone who could get me a job doing voice-overs...

Music:

Music has always been my sister's domain, although I have recently found myself tagging along with the family to a karaoke bar. For those like me with no talent/skill/training, the key to good music(in a karaoke situation, at least) is to get drunk enough that you can't remember how bad you did the first time. After that with the proper encouragement and the right combination of drinks, you to can be a karaoke master. Anyways, the type of music that I have favored most recently has been a narrow mix of rock and rap. Cd's I currently own and listen to frequently are as follows: The Chronic, Chronic 2001, White Stripes (Elephant and De Stijl), Bob Marley and the Wailers(Legend-something like a greatest hits I think), Method Man-Tical pt.0 the prequel(trying to get this one back). I also have a custom cd made for me by a good friend. This is probably my favorite as it has a good variety of musics. The songs as I recall are: Gimme da Weed-Buju Banton(?), Ganja Smugglin-Eek da Mouse, Searchin-The Searchboys(Up in Smoke soundtrack), Up in Smoke-CHEECH AND CHONG(yes I am a reefer-cheefer, but shhhhh... don't tell), Lowrider-Don't Know, uuuuuhhhh..........shit. I can't remember them all but the rest that I do remember are: Ms. Fat Booty-Mos Def(?), Got ya Money(?)-ODB, Evil Homer Gabber-???...Gorillaz....WHAT!! and more that I might include later.

Movies:

Movies...heh...hehehe...HAHAHAHA........yeah.... Anyways, I like movies to say the least. I've watched so many over the years that sometimes it feels that I have been raised by them. Some of my favorites are the epic series; the original Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings. Zombie movies are good as well; Dawn of the Dead (both), Land of the Dead, Night of the living Dead (1,2, and 3), Shaun of the Dead, basically anything "of the Dead" works. Action favorites include the Conan movies, Bond, the Dirty Harry sereis, Alien and Aliens. Comedies are too numerous but here are a few...Marx Brothers movies kick ass, Monty Python, Older Nat'l Lampoon movies, Caddyshack 1 and 2, Uncle Buck, Planes Trains and Automobiles, hmmmmm.... well that list goes on forever. Damn, I like movies too much...

Television:

TELEVISION IS THE DEVIL.....well kinda. Anything that can ensnare me with such delectable bits of intellectual humor ranging from dora the explorer to spongebob has gotta be evil.

Books:

I like to read, yet I'm not well read. When I try to read classics, my mind it goes dead. I forget everything the main character said, and all major plot points from my brain they have fled. Four lines in and I can't keep it up With six I will finish, two short of a cup.
