About Me

"Imagine thyself always to be the servant of all...Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands or feet but yours; yours are the eyes through which Christs' compassion looks out at the world, yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands with which he is to bless us now."--St. Teresa of Avila"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they are busy doing something they think are important. This is because they are chasing the wrong things. The way to get meaning in your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning." --Morrie Schwartz
click hereThe World needs our help. Millions of people have died already and 30,000 more die everyday because no one cared to help them. We have the ability to stop this, so why do we sit there and watch it continue to grow? We act as if it will take care of itself. But the truth is, IT WON'T. We have to change it.God's children are dying, while we sit here watching it happen. We see it on the news and yet the problem continues to grow because we do not do anything about it. We see and here it all the time how hunger is killing thousands a day and yet five minutes later we can find ourselves throwing away leftover food from dinner. We say we care. But have we shown it? It doesn't matter how much we say we care. We have to make it happen. We can talk all we want, but it is not saving lives. We have to actually make a difference, we have to do something about it. God's children are dying and we need your help to save them. Will you help his children? Or will you go on with your normal everyday life like it's not happening. I have made the decision to help God's children, and i hope you will too. God does not care about how much we have, he cares about how much we give. Sacrifice. It's your choice.

Anything Irish, Scottish and stuff like that. I'm trying to understand and become a better Christian and child of God.I used to work in a group home with mentally disabled men ranging from autism to psychosis. I loved it. I also had a job as a Direct Support Professional in a group home for women with cerebral palsy.I love alternative medicine, aromatherapy, and stuff like that. PLEASE ADD ME ONLY IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON. I don't want to date anyone, I have a wonderful boyfriend, and I don't want to help with surveys or try to earn "quick money". I love to laugh all the time, even when I'm sad. My friends say I'm too nice, but I love not feeling hate. I value everything as much as I can. What I dislike most of all are single-minded beliefs and those who use racism for any purpose, especially politics. I am against Abortion, the Death Penalty, and want peace in the Middle East for all sides, and the same for Africa. I get crazy and laugh at weird things, but then I am a person who loves language, the art of expression, and finding the beauty in nature when I get the chance. I think it's because I love the Celtic culture and I wish that one day I'll go back to the Old Country. Ireland rocks my socks. Oh, and I love a man in a kilt hahaha. Anyway,I may go to college for social work, social justice, nursing/CNA and American Sign Language interpreter.

Three passions have governed my life: The longings for love, the search for knowledge, And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love I have seen In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of [people]. I have wished to know why the stars shine.Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens, But always pity brought me back to earth; Cries of pain reverberated in my heart Of children in famine, of victims tortured And of old people left helpless. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot, And I too suffer. This has been my life; I found it worth living. Bertrand Russell:
