WHY NOT ME NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION (501c3)
I’ve only just a minute
Only sixty seconds in it.
Forced upon me, can’t refuse it,
Didn’t seek it, didn’t choose it,
But it’s up to me to use it.
I must suffer if I lose it,
Give an account if I abuse it,
Just a tiny little minute,
But eternity is in it.- Benjamin E. Mays***MAXIMIZE THE MOMENT"!! :)Why NOT me...begs the question of why should I settle for less? Why should I not be worthy of success or to be at the top? Why am I not entitled to the best and greatest things in life? It is all a state of mind.Once you know whom you truly are you will have anything you want.Always put your best foot forward and never stop moving. And while you are doing this, ask yourself, Why not me?I want to leave you with you five pearls of wisdom which I feel can be of assistance to you in finding your dream and maximizing your minute.***FIVE PEARLS OF WISDOM"!!I. Ask God for help. Im not talking about the invisible guy in the sky, but the GOD inside all of us. Once we all realize that we are Gods. Anything that you want can truly manifest. Use it for your strength and encouragement, particularly in those times where you may feel alone or as if all odds are against you.
*******************************II. Everything that you do should be great. Do not settle for average of mediocrity. Anyone can perform on the average level. You, however, want to challenge yourself to be separate from the masses and have an edge in all aspects of life. Everything you do is a reflection of you. If you do things just to get by or just mediocre, often times, that action itself will earn you a similar label. Once labeled as average or mediocre, it’s very hard to prove yourself otherwise.
*******************************III. Advance yourself while also advancing others. We are always quick to use the phrase It’s all about me! In reality, it’s not really about you at all. It’s about everyone and what we can do to help each other. When you walk into a room, you want to give off the open spirit, sort of like an ora about yourself, where people feel that you are approachable and willing to help others in need. There is a phrase that says, To whom much is giving, much is required. In essence, if you are rewarded or blessed with certain gifts, talents, and or skills, it should be a self requirement that you use those qualities to assist others. Much more will be expected from you as a successful person. One of those expectations is that you help others be successful. If not, you will have ultimately failed.
*******************************IV. Leave a legacy. Your legacy is the fingerprint that you leave on the world once you are gone. It will be the name that everyone will refer to you as. That legacy will consist of a number of things and it varies from person to person. The common aspects of any legacy, however, is your name and your character. You want to leave a good name and a strong character. These components are not only important now but will remain important for the rest of your life. At the least, you should honor your name-remember, you name is one which you share with the rest of your family. When you do things to ruin the sacredness of that name, it also reflects upon your family as well. Keep this in mind as you go forward to also maintain solid integrity, be honest and again, build strong character.
*******************************V. Believe in yourself. We no longer believe becuase we know. We know that anything we want can be achieved. ask yourself why not me, and remember that wasted talent is the worst sin in the world. We were placed on this earth to make the most of ourselves. Anything less than that would be unacceptable. Sometimes you will have to push yourself to keep going, even when everyone else has resigned to quitting or telling you to throw in the towel. Always imagine yourself doing great things, see it in action, and if plan “A†does not work out, be flexible and try again. Always be open to change and be able to modify your goals. Talent comes in a variety of forms and often times things happen in life to help us rediscover lost talents, underappreciated talents or talents that we never knew existed in ourselves. Once claiming it, however, you are charged to put that talent to use in helping yourself advance, but above all, in advancing others.

I’d like to leave with you the words of one of the greatest poets of all time, Langston Hughes.*******************************
A Dream Deferred
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?Don’t Defer your dreams! Thank you... Wadu
