Alan Rickman, of course. And Outerscope Nigel. And bitching about jerks who judge.
Alan Rickman. And anyone who also was obsessed with Outerscope Nigel.
ok, ok, not sick of music, i was just sick of thinking. I like Jane Siberry, Death Cab for Cutie, Elvis Costello, 80's stuff like Duran Duran/Thomas Dolby, 70's stuff like Cars and OLD Blondie circa 1975 stuff, OLD Joni Mitchell, Magnetic Fields tho not lately, see why I hate this question, i have to think too much, I like alot of songs now and maybe not albums so much, as itunes has come about, David Bowie (Heathen) is my favorite album right now, I like random stuff like XTC, Tears for Fears, then I like old Squeeze, I guess the truth is that I like old bands and then I like certain current artists, but I'm not crazy about current bands tho I really like Death Cab for Cutie and always and forever Radiohead. I LOVE Joanaspolicewoman - Joan Wasser, as well as Jeff Buckley for that matter, both you listen to on long car rides. I've been enjoying listening more to stuff as I've currently been on maternity leave from playing out with band MiMi Ferocious. http://www.myspace.com/mimiferocious... OH, and I love Imperial Teen - looove them and Sufian Stevens - my new obsession. I love the new Snakes on a Plane song - brilliant!
galaxy quest, office space, ummm, gregory's girl, casablanca, of course, heathers, nothing with brad pitt, anything with Alan Rickman. Candleshoe. Tootsie. (that's a corn cob), and now anything with Dax Shepard - funny and yummy.
I miss so badly the show Vegetable Soup on PBS, particularily the Outerscope Nigel segment. I finally found a copy of it on Ebay. I seek others who also watched that circa 1976-77. They stopped airing it suddenly. I thought for years I dreamt up those lifelike and eerily appealing puppets. Yes TV can be bad for you. But, The West Wing on DVD got me and Greg through a very long winter with a newborn and a toddler - ie: no going out for us. Just enough free time to watch maybe half and episode and eat some ice cream. The back to the grind. Things are looking up though!
I'm trying to finish Atonement by Ian McEwan - it's great, I'm just busy. Of course - anything by my muse Jonathan Ames. Just finished The Red Tent to get me excited and ready for having my baby. Oy! The Wisom of Crowds.
Debbie Harry, Alan Rickman, wait, now I'm sick of him i think, Larry David, Virginia O'Brien - she saves cats, Sarah Polly, i gotta think about it. Josh Lyman.
