About Me

Now coming up on a decade, The Alliance has been playing music together with the same lineup since 97'. They've been in and out of the studio about 5 times, each time the style on the cd's change. To put it simply with each recording they have grown to be more aware of what they want the songs to be. With the release of their 5th cd Murphy's Law came a 2 week long tour during Dec. of 06'. The tour went better then was expected, mainly because the band has it's own sound. With a mixture of breakdowns, sweep picking, double bass, and both yelling and singing. The music has become more technical and well thought out, building a song that has not just one good part, but an all around good song. The Alliance are currently working on new material to record and release sometime in May, right before they hit the road for the summer. The band will be on the road in June and maybe even july if things go well. So look for them on the road, and check it out.
