Sometimes, that's just the way it goes

About Me

I'm slowly growing up. Perhaps hiding my immaturity with mature life changes. Getting married, a career, a house, a dog...soon. I love that they're all happening but realize I'm still pretty child-like. I think I'm supposed to shed that characteristic, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to, in fact, I don't think it would be a good thing. I'm sure there's room for both. I believe it's really important to make sure there's room for both. Sports make me happy. I could spend all day, outdoors, playing them. Doesn't matter which sport. I suck at soccer, but would love to kick around a little. Not too good at baseball, but would bask in the sunshine, dirt and musty smell of an old leather glove. Hurling?, fugedaboutit! I could play, coach, practice, eat, sleep, crap that wonderful sport everday...Except Sunday, that's mine and Jess' day together. I wouldn't give that up for any sport.

My Interests

Myspace Layouts and SO much more from WhateverLife.com! ♥

I'd like to meet:

Mr. or Mrs. Velveeta. Their macaroni is pretty tasty. August Busch IV. He may need a loan. Donald P. Belesario (his tv shows are great). Oprah Winfrey (to punch her in the eye and take her money). Any of the Three Stooges and Shemp. Curly Joe can go to Hell! Andy Petroff...it would be good to see him again. Myself 10 years from now. Any of the Scrubs, My Name is Earl, The Office, or Arrested Development writers or cast. Whoever came up with the "Can you hear my now?" commercials.....ooooohhhh....I'd have piece of mind if I gave him a piece of my mind. President Bush....so I could sarcastically praise him on the job he is doing and then laugh on the inside when I know he doesn't get it. And St. Louis Archbishop Raymond Burke. There are just too many bad things he's got coming, I don't have time to list them.

Movies:

True Romance, The Professional, The Manchurian Candidate, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Rad, Gleaming the Cube, Heathers, Coming to America, when I think of more I'll update the list.

Television:

My Name is Earl, The Office, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Scrubs, pretty much anything on the History Channel, Quantum Leap, The Daily Show, Newschannel 5 @ Ten, The Tick (live action and cartoon), The Contender (if it were still on), and House of Joseph

Books:

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I know it's trite, but I did enjoy The DaVinci Code. Jon Stewart's America and Naked Pictures of Famous People. When I think of more I'll update the list.

Heroes:

Jess, for never letting anything stand in her way. There is a saying I'm fond of that I believe she personifies. "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Act as though it were impossible to fail." I try to live this philosophy everyday. She's just more successful at it than I am. Also, Fr. Marek Bozek and the lay board/parishoners of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. They tipify what it means to fight for what you believe in.
