The majority of the handcrafted jewelry designs that you will see at Delicate Accents are called "beaded jewelry". This means that they are strung on lightweight coated wire or on thread. In this type of jewelry, the individual beads are emphasized and the design is to show the beads at their best. If we were to use multiple strands we may drape them or twist the strands together to give each piece a unique look. We use a variety of gemstones, crystals, glass, shells, polymer clay, pearls, wood, gold, silver, copper as well as many other beads to get the right look for the type of jewelry that we may be creating. We also make use of pendants... which is a focal bead that adds interest to any jewelry piece. Some of the pendants are simply a piece of stone or a shell that is a little larger than the other beads in the necklace. Sometimes the pendant can also be made from a series of beads to also add interest. We make and sell beaded bracelets, anklets, earrings and necklaces. We also guarantee that no two necklaces are ever alike at Delicate Accents.
