I was born and raised in New Orleans. I am currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Policy & Leadership at The Ohio State University. I also graduated from Southern University with a B.S. and from Florida State University with a Masters, both in education. I am an educator by both profession and calling. However, my academic and professional accomplishments do not make me successful. I would like to be defined by and valued for the number of people I inspire through sharing and employing my experiences. Because I have stood on the shoulders of so many, I am strengthening mine so those proceeding me can inevitably stand.
