I am here for Friends

About Me

"Crazy love is mine for the being."

If I love you, you know it, and that's all I care about.
It dropped so low in my regard
I heard it hit the ground
and go to pieces on the stones
at bottom of my mind.
Yet blamed the fate that fractured less
than I reviled myself
for entertaining plated wares
upon my silver shelf.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Many never run into this question at all, if running into the question means not only hearing and reading the interrogative sentence as uttered, but asking the question, that is, taking a stand on it, posing it, compelling oneself into the state of this questioning. ~Heidegger
"No, I'm never surprised by you anymore...I've come to expect becky the angel one moment, and becky the luscious and seductive mistress of love the next moment."
"To be true to the heart's one choice is the long labor of the mind." -Tryg
"The hastening of any matter breeds disasters." -Herodotus' Histories 7.10

"Won't you blow my mind; it's something I am ill-prepared to remedy."

I'm truly tired of hating people...but that doesn't make them any less worthy of it.

I'd like to meet:

People who know how to live. Really, no matter how much you plan, and what kind of fate you believe in, things are gonna go haywire, and life's gonna royally fuck you over at some point. Learn to live. Learn to take risks. Learn to leave behind the people that need to be left there. Learn to embrace experiences or people that you enjoy, even if they're not what you expected. Learn to be whoever it is that you are, without boxing yourself in or shutting the world out. You only get to try something deadly once--so make it good.
