THE OBSERVER Music Monthly-
"A group called Jenners Field, whose sheer ability fills me with rage" -Will Hodgkinson
AMERSHAM-
London, New Cross
"A young band in there late teens, they were a very tight unit with solid underpinning from the drummer, producing a rock vibe good enough to shame many veterans. Being an old sod myself its nice to see competant youngsters avoiding the jangly indie sound that's really getting quite tedious now and concentrating on driving rhythms, inventive guitar work and distinctive tunes I could actually remember afterwards.
They also looked pretty good as well." - Mark Shevek.
BRIXTON WINDMILL-
London, windmill
"Top teens making hardcore sound happy with a discopunk beat. Tight as you like and ones to watch." - Tim.
THE WINDMILL-
London, windmill
"In the running for this years youth team award if such a thing existed in the disorganisation of the 'mill, these four teens don't do a bad job of presenting a dancey Clor-like sound. Ones to watch closely." -Tim.
THE-FLY Magazine-
London, Spread Eagle
"This South London band is alarmingly young, and with each song suggesting an alternative direction for them- from US college rock to punk-funk- its a sketchy scramble of ideas. But the spark of something special sees them through a chaotic evening: the bouncer interrupts to turf out fans while others yell indignantly; guitars conk out and everything culminates with a pop as the PA packs in under the strain. It takes charm and guile to weather such conditions, so all power to 'em." -David McKenna.
