Movies that I like.... hmm....
I'm definately more into Comedy's than anything. My feeling about movies is that you should be able to sit, be entertained without having to think too much. If I wanted to learn something inciteful I'd turn on the tv and watch a freakin documentary. Chick flicks... they serve their purpose. Thriller/Horror movies aren't really my thing (cept for the classic Alfred Hitchcock movies). If I wanted to be freaked out I'd goto the trance room at an allnight rave and watch the hordes of drugged out ravers & E-Puddles... good times!
I do like watching some Indies, but find that soo many are way out there. Plus there are soo many indie flicks now days its nearly impossible to pick a solid one.
Here are some Movies I dig: Anchorman, Lemony Snickets, Any Wes Anderson movie, Clerks, Groundhog Day & pretty much any movie with Bill Murray, space balls, blazing saddles, something about mary, Caddyshack (bill murray at his best), Coming to America (Eddie Murphy in his prime... what happened??), Good Morning Vietnam (""You know, you're in more dire need of a blow job than any white man in history."), Best in Show and other Christopher Guest movies, Kung fu Hustle, Napolean Dynamite, Pulp Fiction, Momento (Trippy shit), Goodfellas, Casino, Fight club (totally caught me off guard the first time, had to rewatch it immediately!), Seven (amazing movie), 12 Monkeys, Die Hard (1 of the best action movies ever), more to come....
I usually watch whatever is on, but do have a few favorites. These include: Carnivale (sadly, it was cancelled. corporate fuckers), Rescue Me on FX (Pushes cable tv to the edge), Seinfeld (they need to bring this series back!), and I guess that's it. I thought I had more, but I guess I just don't have the time to sit around and follow cheesy legal, medical, crime, or "reality" shoes.
So yeah, given a choice I'd rather watch a movie.
