Never set aside your integrity.

About Me

I will resume law school in the fall. To a certain extent, I am an outgoing introvert. I am in the midst of planning an August wedding. I love that our rescued canine, Dana, now acts like she may believe she is homo sapien-sapien. I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations and drinking coffee. I love the smell of a camp fire. I am very LIBERAL.

My Interests

To enjoy our wedding in the company of a few old, intimate friends and close family members. I want to sew a quilt by hand, so I've enrolled in a beginner class. I love baking pies. I love elephants.

I'd like to meet:

It would be fascinating to meet Maniilaq as well as Andrew and Maggie Greene. As an adult, I would have loved to get to know my paternal Grandmother. She was an amazing woman.

Music:

Classic country singers like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline (because my Papa loves it when I sing her songs to him), Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Merchant, Tracey Chapman, Norah Jones, Sugarland, Sarah Evans, anything with a calm, groovy vibe.

Movies:

Doctor Zhivago, Grease I & II, Mona Lisa Smile, Sex & The City (I know it's not a movie, but I had to include it).

Television:

I am a complete sucker for the Discovery and History Channels, but we don't have cable or time to watch TV.

Books:

Classic Russian novels: The Master & Marguerita by Bulgakov, Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky, Anna Karenina by Tolstoy. And, I'll read "junk" when I can: US Weekly, People. Leisure reading will cease once I return to law school.

Heroes:

Michael, Dana, certain members of my family. I generally respect people who are genuine and secure with their own identity; whose dispositions in life, be it grammar, style, what have you, are original and unique.
