Anomaly was formed in 2005 under the name halo 2 to play a school talent show. After playing the show and recognizing the potential that was inside each band member, the group did what bands do best, they took a 6 month hiatus. After the break, the band reformed with the notion that although they were destined to be something great, the best thing to do was to start from the ground up. This led to the band playing a couple shows as a cover band under the name synaesthesia, to get grounding in performance and to better understand each other while on stage. Summer rolled in, and the band started to write its own songs mainly under the direction of Evan and Sean. The groups contrasting styles and influences created the tracks that they now have and are currently working .. playing one show in early September the band slowed performances in order to write new material, and are now out for blood as they go after the next gig or the next party, whichever comes first.
