Band Members: Paul Royce Koch:
Producer & Engineer 615-270-4085
Influences: BEATLES: I lived in England in 65 as a wee lad of five when Rubber Soul released and I remember asking dad for money to play Michelle on the jukebox as we waited for the airplane to take us to USA for good..... SUPERTRAMP: Crime of the Century is studio work done smart & sweet..... RUSH: pick one!.... GEORGE JONES: Country would be less interesting without the G-man..... TRAFFIC: John Barleycorn was my first LP record which my dad purchased by accident. Steve Winwood played most of the tracks on this one, nicely..... MOTORHEAD: Did I say Motorhead? I meant Motorhead..... PATSY CLINE: Vocals done right..... BAD COMPANY: The analogue (English) sound I long to mix..... AAE / AWARENESS ART ENSEMBLE: Nothing educates a spiritual being like being there when the music is in the air and you can touch it. "Forewards ever backwards never!"..... LED ZEPLIN:I still listen in amazement when Bohnam plays..... LUDACHRIS: I Got Ho's in Different Area Codes still makes food & drink come out my nose...why you think they call it a HO-tel..... KIX: local boys kick but..."gotta get rid of the kid cause the kids a crowd"..... ZIGGY MARLEY: Conscious Party is my soundcheck CD of choice "This is new love."..... DJ NELSON: Regaeton is the only fresh thing going on in the dance hippity hop world as I see it..... WIERD AL: He manages to duplicate many different mixes with damn near dead on results in his "remakes"..... TROUBLE FUNK: Can a white boy like a little Gogo once in a while..... CHUCK BROWN: The man got me off my white boy seat up and dancing..... COMMODORES: Brick House defined funk in a clean way I'll never forget..... EMINEM: broke in to the poet's market of music even if he is a dork!..... STEVIE WONDER: Now this man brings it to the table..... LYNYRD SKYNYRD: too many parties not to love it!..... HANK WILLIAMS SR: The collected works is an education every musician should study and my deserted island record of choice..... BOB DILLON: Highway 61 is a fave!..."God said Abraham kill me a son. Abe said God you must be puttin' me on. God said no. Abe said what. God said you can do what you want, but the next time you see me you better run. Abe said where you want this killin' done? God said over on highway 61." ....... America, Bread, Jimmi Hendrix, Doors, Kansas, Foreigner: What can I say, I grew up in the 70's! ..... Most everything ever produced by SUN RECORDS...... RAY KENNEDY: Twang Trust is "one of the few" in Nashville who get it honest..... And believe it or not GENE RYDER: He is so dog gone creative I'm still waiting for him to cut his ear off but I hope he doesn't. Working with Gene I learned how to work with an "artist" of high standards both on his players and himself and best of all I got to torment Chris Salamone!. .......Peace...........

If you want to "Get It" listen to the original repetedly, then every cover version of the original you can get your hands on. When you start to feel that slow creeping sense of embarrassement for the bands who all missed the mark, you now understanding the power of the simple and sacred this illustrates. You will never over play again discovering true musical nirvanna. If you cannot understand perhaps faster is the path you will follow ..........
you are not ready grasshopper.
