I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello there traveller...I'm Jay. I'm a musician living in Manchester, teaching guitar and bass, working part time to cover the rent, and generally getting on with it.
My life is pretty chilled and quite right now, lots of time reading, writing/playing, teaching in the evenings and then there's my bands.....
I am the bassist in The Greatest Band on Planet Earth right now - that would be the devastatingly powerful F.I.G.M.O, and I also provide low-end re-enforcement for "Pearl Jammed"!! Hehehe!! Not only that, i am currently sessioning for Robert John - AMAZING! Phew, I'm a busy boy!!
But before that, I've been a musician ever since before I was even born! I have taught for the last 5 years with fantastic results for my pupils, so anyone who wishes to further their own knowledge or get started, just let me know and I'll see if I can fit you in.. :-)
I love you all, and no longer have any need for enemies - although a pocket dictionary wouldnt go amis, hehehe..
Fuck it man, I don't know what we gotta do to make ourselves "happy" these days, recon we just gotta keep breathing man, you know.. Count our blessing such as music, good books, great friends, even better sex, sunsets etc hehe :-)"It's just a ride" - Bill Hicksx x x x

My Interests

Sex, music, sobriety, catapillars, little bits of fluff, music, work, porn, music and bass. Oh, and gravy enemas - ah, Bisto!!

I'd like to meet:

All of us. Guys, girls, musicians, anyone who loves living!I'm pretty sure we can all Rock and Roll ALL night, AND Party EVERYDAY!!

Music:

All of it. But check out this guy, John Smith (that's his name, seriously!) as one of the countries best acoustic acts...This is just too beautiful for words. And all live...Fuck me!

Movies:

I dont "do" the cinema.

Television:

Evil. Although I am becoming hopelessly addicted to Lost, just bought season 1 and am well into it - God slay me, but hooked! LOL!!

Books:

Most. John Grisham, James Patterson, Iain Banks, Aldous Huxley and Paulo Cohello especially. And everyone should give Larkin a go, he saved my life!!Have a listen to a few of these readings, this one is called "Days", and is possibly the truest truths I've ever heard... And read by the great man himself!

Heroes:

Yes please. Mine have all died... Layne, Jaco, Dime, Barry White, Joe Strummer, Joe Pass, James Brown, Artie Shaw, Philip Larkin etc"Aubade" - Philip Larkin

My Blog

I must be getting old...

Like a classic "Spaced" scene, I was interviewed today for a shite job by a bloke younger than me... :-( Still, you're only as old as the woman you feel, as they say.. Lucky old me! Maybe the world ai...
