I have a few heroes in my life, my sister-in-law Marti, who passed away in March of 2006, taught me so many things, she battled cancer for 3 years, she put up a huge fight, she never lost faith and she died smiling. I feel so lucky to have had her apart of my life. My mom is my hero just because she has shown me what unconditional love really is. I put her through alot and she still never gave up on me. When people tell me I'm just like her, its not an insult, its a compliment. My Dad is my hero, he has worked hard to take care of his family, and he is the strongest man I know. My sister is my hero, because of all she went through, she never lost herself, she finds a simple view of grass and leaves or some sort of nature and turns it into beauty through the eye of a camera, she has come through each challenge shining. And Lastly, but importantly, my kids are heroes to me. They have taught me so many things, they are understanding, and loving and just great kids who I hope I have passed on some values and common sense that they will use in their lives as they grow up and become individuals. All these people in my life have made me into who I am today. They have seen the worst of me, and they stuck around. I am very fortunate to have this support in my life.
