I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a traveler. I make plans and break them in the same thought process. I'm kind and considerate and I like to smile. I want to go to Africa. I'm in Santa Barbara right now. And I love it.. I just moved here like a week ago and am digging exploring everything... I'm a flighty dabbler. I tried to meditate for 3 weeks and lasted only 6 days. I enjoy meeting people who at first or even second glance seem different than me.. and I enjoy figuring out how we're different and how we're the same.. I love learning, although hated school.

My Interests

travelling, meeting people, thinking, reading, writing, photography, gymnastics, teaching, learning, languages, cultural traditions, brushing my teeth and flossing, chile, black coffee, elephants, .. yada yada

I'd like to meet:

someone who wants to take a motorcycle trip through central and south america.. because i want to, and we could do it together.. otherwise, someone who at least thinks that idea is cool and would read my myspace messages when i'm on that said trip. But I guess I'd settle for folks who are cool as cucumbers... people who like to explore new places and ideas. People who chew with their mouth closed.. and maybe someone who is just as flighty as me..

Movies:

Dot the i, Dirty Pretty Things, Lost in Translation, Crash, Broken Flowers, The House of Sand and Fog, Machuca, Motorcycle Diaries, Benny and Joon, Love me if you Dare, Bread and Roses, American Splendor, He Loves me-He Loves me Not, City of God, Man on Fire, The Family Stone, Walk the Line, Beyond Borders, Perfect Paradise, The Boys of Baraka, Little Miss Sunshine, Borat

My Blog

i went to a baseball game.. and liked it.

Perhaps its having a Chilean father.. but I never grew up with the tv tuned to quintessential American sports like baseball or football.. I never grew to love either sport. and I honestly couldnt quit...

afraid of change??

I have never thought myself to be someone afraid of change. I actually think I thrive in change and die a little when things are stagnant... I like to try new things, go new places, meet new people......
