Don't tell me how I should play my bass...I do it MY way!

About Me

Well I am still the bass player for SPEECHLESS, which is without a doubt the most badass of bands here in Atlanta. We describe it a "Groove oriented high energy all instrumental rock. This is where rock mixes with progressive, jazz, funk, classical and new world in a kick ass musical stew". Our debut CD "Time Out of Mind" is now out and doing well and we are receiving amazing reviews....I truly feel honored to be playing with such talented musicians.I live in Atlanta with my wife Julie and our 3 dogs, 2 cats and a tankfull of fish that has become her hobby.Other than playing music, I love to go fishing in my boat and go out with friends. I am generally an opinionated yet sarcastically humble man who loves to watch hockey, particularly the Philadelphia Flyers.

My Interests

Playing bass, going fishing, annoying my keyboard player.

I'd like to meet:

People who know what good music is, and those who can appreciate my sense of humor.

Music:

Rush, RHCP, Stevie Wonder, Stu Hamm, Boston, Incubus, Pink Floyd, Michael Bolton and The Spice Girls.

Movies:

Sneakers, because it is a clever movie....and Shawshank Redemption, because it is about hope and also justice.

Television:

I love cartoons like Spiderman and X-Men. Other than that, hockey.

Books:

The Fountainhead by Ann Rynd...but probably not for the reasons you think. I don't really give a hoot about architecture as long as the walls don't come crumbling down around me.

Heroes:

Mom and Dad, Geddy Lee of Rush and my current bandmates!

My Blog

My first real blog....Why I love playing in SPEECHLESS

Just a few thoughts about my band SPEECHLESS...I wanted to tell people why I love playing in this band. First off, there are no egos in this band. We all recognize each other's strengths and also our...
