About Me

hello i'm martin, i live in derby and i love it kedleston road represent. i have a fantastic life, and i hate to see it when other people arnt, rarely do out about it, but i think about it you know, i like moaning too, pretty good at that. i am just about to finnish my a-levels, and hopefully going to swansea in september to do physics yo, i am on a serious one man mission to give physics a good image, because anyone who has given it the time it deserves knows it is old school like winter duffle coats. seriously though, it IS cool. my life otherwise is more or less run by music, i just never stop listening to it, it makes me so happy, fantastic, bit of a bass freak really.i go through fases and crazes, i am a drummer and an audio geek,i am stupid enough to be a drummer, and wierd enough to be a geek, and i love making music as much as listening, i used to be a guitarist, but i stopped because i was shit, which is as good a reason as any as far as im concerned, i gave it nearly five years alright stop pestering me. so yeah. come and meet me, becasue my head is getting progressively more hazy as i get older, and it would be a shame for you not to meet me. The most important thing about this profile is that i never ever use myspace, i am only doing this because it is stopping me thinking about the revision i should be doing, sleep, as stu so aptly put it is "for puffs and hippies" thanks for that man, but in principle i agree. soon i am going to be the greatest dj in the world and you can all come and see me at fabric or somthing like that. right now i have one massive dilemma; should i miss goin on holiday to go and see lightyear, as it is probably the last chance i wille ver get to see them (again). they are absoloutly godlike. anybody who does not own "chris' gentlemens hairdresser and railway bookshop" go out and buy it now, it will be the best purchase of your life. i shit you not. i have decided not to start a blog, but like just keep adding to this about me thing until i run out of space. today is stu's party, anyone who fancies coming i'm sure will be welcome, but it is in belper so you want to be careful. also i dunno how the hell your gonna know when today is. just had a big arguament with my sister because she put AN EGG in the dishwasher, and turned it on, you should see the mess. couldnt beleive it. mad. ok jazz hands im off to play with the fairies. laters. grandad is god. can someone please tell me why the hell can't i post a comment on my own comments board yo? what is this all about. bollocks. i feel like i havent moaned at anyone in ages. people who have loads as bands as there friends, i dont understand that. dj shadow is not your friend. there have been various rumours flying around that i am jesus. i would just like to say that this is not the case. nor am i the second coming in any form. have a nice day.PLUS, i have just found out i can edit my friends, i havent played with it yet but it sounds awesome.

Movies:

not really that into fuilms to be honest, i can live with them, i like them to be light haerted, dont go for that heavy stuff most of the time.

Television:

i like watching tv, but not with people, it should be a lonely sport no doubt, i like a bit of this and a bit of that, generally go for a bit of the old top gear and that.

Books:

into a bit of pratchet, dont really go for much fantasy but i love him. i dunno really, dont read many books, like sciency stuff but it takes me a long time to read.
