- The SCA, especially being in the EK Shire of Buckland Cross (I'm in the Bog, but play with BC). - Genealogy, especially my family in Switzerland on both sides. - Circus life. The atmosphere, the acts, the dynamic... it's all good. - Medieval music, Corvus Corax, Loreena McKennitt, movie soundtracks, metal, goth, ska, traditional bagpipe music, The Stone Soup Band. - I am obsessed with bats, especially Eastern Pipistrelles and Bumblebees. Ya wanna make me happy? Buy me something with a bat on it. ;) - Also obsessed with snails. Love my slimy babies! _@_V - Reading, reading, reading, especially medieval mysteries by Ellis Peters, Sharon Kay Penman, and Michael Jecks. Also the Lovejoy mysteries by Jonathan Gash. - I'm a floriculturist by trade, and love gardening as well. - I love handsewing and embroidery, and have been a calligrapher for 23 years. In fact, I'm so addicted to sewing my own garb that I feel lost without a needle and cloth in my hands! - Woodworking, horn carving, metalwork, jewelrymaking are also fave hobbies. - Researching the medieval era, especially the Knights Templar and the clothing and culture of the Swiss in the 14th century, is a passion of mine. - Flirting. Anything that can be turned into a double entendre, I'm there.
