This isn't poetic, and we didn't use a thesaurus to write it either. We don't act like something we aren't. We play and do whatever we feel like and to impress no one but ourselves. All we want to do is have a good time and play music for the rest of our lives. That being said, we are Unfair Advantage, band from a town in South Jersey called Franklinville. We are all self-taught musicians who have a distinct sound that can't be described by mixing different bands. You have to listen to for yourself, we are what we are. We have been together for almost 5 years with numerous cds, live and studio versions. Our latest album has been in the works for over a year now. It's taking forever because Will had to leave for a few months to assist Bear Grylles as his survival consultant for a scaling of Mount Everest. They reached the summit, where a battle ensued over the last remaining air tank. Bear Grylles will be missed. Also, Jay stepped out when he heard that his Alpaca herd went missing in Peru. We welcomed him home with happy hearts and met his wife, Consuelo Natali. She is a doll. Although it has been tough, we all pulled it together with the help of Derek's guru, Ping. His teachings allowed each of us the ability to harness our chi. We would've learned these techniques sooner had Derek been there; but, he was busy fighting Fire Lord Ozai in Ba Sing Se. Our clean aura and happy chi offer Ping many thanks. Andy, on the other hand, had a terrible run in with an old band mate. Left with a broken jaw, we knew he had to sit out a few songs. His brother, Jandy, gladly took his spot and threw down some mean vocs. We're not quite too sure what Mark did while we were all away. All we know is for some reason he is banned from 8 countries and he won't let us watch the news. Maybe one day we can shed some light on it. We've endured these hardships with a grain of salt and, to much avail, made us better both as a band and as people. The cd is almost finished and we hope it was worth the wait!
