About Me
BARE HANDS GALLERY exposes art works by, and endeavors to advance the careers of, contemporary visual artists from the State of Alabama, and strives to enhance the arts community of metro Birmingham, Alabama through: (a) Promoting, sponsoring, organizing and presenting art exhibits ten times per calendar year (b) Presenting a program of art events featuring artists who reside in Alabama (c) Contributing to the professional development of artists in making, exhibiting, and selling works of art in a positive environment (d) Providing educational opportunities to the community through exposure to art, interaction with artists, and opportunities to experience art in demonstrations, workshops, lectures, and performances.
