About Me

Out of the ashes of such luminous bands as The Fuctoobs and Hippie Hung Christ came Czolgosz. Started mostly by James and slightly by Keller, they began recording horrible songs on a sorry excuse for a 4-track in late 1997. They went through bass players like i go through a bag of roasted garlic and chicken flavored chips and for the first year or so the only place that would allow them to play was the dank basement bar at Jaques Cabaret thanks to friends like the August Spies and a Mr. Jason Treanor. Eventually they branched out to play even danker basements and in 2001 they went to Europe for the first of five tours. Over the years they would also drink vast quantities of beer and various homemade liquor in South America and the Carribean as well. Presently they are on hiatus but keeping busy plotting new and exciting ways to drink for free (or at least cheaply).
