About Me

I hate EZ Wireless Communications they are an evil phone rental company that rent phones globally and if they are stolen or damaged they charge you thousands of dollars and then threaten to sue you or hand you overr to a collection agency. I am hoping to find a way to ensure that when you google them my comment will come up. that is why i am puting this on my sad little My space page. Just go to www.rentacellularphone.com if you want to get ripped offMy Fair heathen productions is working on Dario Fo's "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" to show in NYC in June/ July! Find My Fair Heathen on myspace or go to our website for more info www.myfairheathen.com ATTENTION!!! “The taste for satire was not suppressed even by fascism—in fact, it developed.” -Dario Fo, Author’s NoteOverzealous persecution of alleged terrorist leads to inhumane death; authorities scramble to cover their tracks. Does this scenario sound familiar? Conceived in the politically repressive Italy of 1969, Dorio Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist has never been more relevant. Simultaneously tragic, comical and grotesque, it uses physical comedy and an absurd situation taken straight from the news to weave a potent satire of an overreaching “social democratic state.” In 1983, a successful British television adaptation updated the play’s concerns for Thatcher’s Britain, demonstrating its lasting universality. As for today, it’s not that big a stretch to replace Fo’s bumbling tyrants with our own—read the headline, and modern Americans think instantly of the secrecy-shrouded Guantanamo Bay and the warrentless persecution of unknown numbers of people, in addition to the multitude of small ways in which dissenters are subtly menaced. Enter My Fair Heathen Productions. A group of boundary-pushing actors and musicians from New York and Boston, this company seeks to create an intellectually participatory experience in which the audience asks as many questions as the play itself. Their production retains Fo’s brilliant, Brecht-influenced combination of clowning and politics while transforming it into something fresh and modern. It would seem, then, that play and players are a match made in heaven…or heathen. In a time and place suffused with entertaining distractions, Accidental Death of an Anarchist dares to remind its viewers what’s at stake…so come and join in the debate.
