Das Plague began at the end of 2004 when Marcos, Javi, Blas and Gabi decided to form a band after having had a break, musically speaking. Rehearsals started and we recorded a demo of two songs in early 2005, which was going to be released by Error Records but didn’t come to light for several reasons.
Later Nelson joined us in order to help us to complete the band. He became the vocalist and Blas took charge of the other guitar. The lineup then became: Nelson (vocals), Blas (guitar), Marcos (bass), Javi (drums) and Gabi (guitar/backing vocals).
The purpose was always making the music we like, sticking to our ideals and searching for common ground between all of us. Music as a language and as a way of self-expression, never compromising from doing it our way.

Das plague tuvo sus inicios a finales del 2004, cuando Marcos, Javi, Blas y Gabi decidimos montar algo tras un parón musical. Comenzaron los ensayos y grabamos una demo de dos temas a principios de 2005, que iba a ser editada por Error-Records pero no vió la luz al final por diversos motivos.
Más adelante entró Nelson para terminar de darle sentido al grupo. Se puso a las voces y Blas cogió la otra guitarra. Desde entonces somos Nelson (voz), Blas (guitarra), Marcos (bajo), Javi (bateria) y Gabi (guitarra/coros).
La intención siempre fué hacer la música que nos gusta, siguiendo nuestras ideas y buscando un punto en común a todos. La música como lenguaje y modo de expresión, y a nuestra manera.
