About Me

My name is Benjamin John Applin and i live at home with my parents, brother and fiance. I went to the university of Surrey and passed my degree in Aerospace Materials. I currently work on High Explosives safety properties and prediction of how they'll behave in accidents which is my ideal job! I've been allowed to come up with my own test :)I tend to drive everywhere so don't get to drink as much as I'd like :(I like swords and arrows and spears and generally anything which you can associate some honour with when usuing it, old wars were the best when the leaders actually fought and died with their men in the thick of it rather than sitting in a secure bunker ten miles underground pushing buttons like they're playing computer games. I think i should have been born a long time ago! Everything was so much simpler then, then again if i had been i wouldn't have got far as i'm blind as a bat without my glasses so wouldn't exactrly be much use. I like the codes of the samurai and the way they lived their lives by them and with honour, you don't get a lot of that now-a-days and that is sad. People are scared to say they're English now, it's like a dirty word and it shouldn't be that way.
