About Me

I love Thai curry. I look good in hats, but do not own any. I "borrow" Chuck's clothes until they just stay in my drawer. I am happier than I have ever been. I don't know how I lived without our espresso maker before. I am grateful for life. I love riding my mountain bike, but ever since I hurt my legs I have been too scared to. I love my family. We laugh over bad puns. We take giant bites out of life. We also take giant bites out of pizza. We discuss things passionately. I am lucky to find someone as politically interested as I am, if not more so. I have the greatest parents, the best brothers and sisters, and the most awesome love, who makes me a better person every day just for knowing him. I live for our son, our love, our family....and the occasional bit of slapstick humor. But this still bothers me.

Things I miss about Arkansas: some of my friends. my mamaw's cooking. slightly less hot weather. my Dad, my mom and my sisters and their families. Pizza D's. Sufficient Grounds. Which is no longer Sufficient Grounds.Things I love about Dallas/Fort Worth: Chuck. Chuck's parents. Fuzzy's Baja Mexican Restaurant. Our new home. Working at OWLS. Downtown Ft Worth by the river. Melissa moved here because she missed me. Or not. Either way, I have one of my best friends here. New friends. Never having nothing to do. Fuddrucker's. And Indian Markets.

the friends I've kept for years because they know me the best, and love me anyways. the boy who has changed my life and perspective on love and patience and understanding. the man who has increased these lessons ten-fold. and the future that leads from these promises.photography, impromptu mattress surfing, cakewalking, writing, reading, posing, pouting, Berkeley, traveling, talking entirely too much, listening to Styx with Chuck, watching my son ham it up on a daily basis, cooking new dishes from various countries, making my friends laugh by practicing my standup material on them, loving, baking sweet sweet muffins filled with love....... singing, laughing, and dancing with myself.

James Tate is a favorite. plays. Titus Andronicus is my personal favorite, as sick as that may seem.
