Russell is a brilliant British comic and one of the things I love most about his humor is that he is respectful of others. He often mocks himself but unlike Howard Stern, he doesn't feel the need to abuse other people. He is not only a comedian, but hosts a radio show on BBC radio 2. You can check out his podcast on iTunes.
In addition to his radio show he is an actor and presenter which in the UK means televison host, I believe. He has also written an autobiography entitled "My Booky Wook" which is a best seller in the UK and has gotten rave reviews. It is very difficult to get it here in the U.S. but Amazon.com is accepting pre-orders for it on it's U.S. site. Also,you can find videos of Russell Brand on YouTube. You really owe it to yourself to check him out!
