About Me

i'm a fan. i'm an enthusiast. i prefer it when my sides are sore from laughing. i drove through a building about 2 years ago and hit a guy sitting at his desk in his office. my brakes went out. nobody was hurt. my birthday is september 11th and CBS news showed up because they thought i was a terrorist. i tell that story at parties and i sometimes wonder if the guy i hit does the same. i am a dance party USA, i am all for making fun when there is fun to be made, i believe in mexican food (tito's makes the taco that launched a thousand ships) and that part in that Outkast song where he says "alright alright alright alright!" all fast.

My Interests

ballyhoo and tomfoolery, high contrast living, businsspeople 2k?!, painting, aerosol art, skateboarding, building shelves, big words, big love, guitars (oh my god, guitars.) music, banging the drums, matching tattoos, road trips.

I'd like to meet:

makers, movers & shakers. Critical thinkers with big ideas, big words and big hearts ready to make some noise. Innovators who agree that it's all happening. My dance card is full. The loveliest nation is perfectly populated.

Music:

i'm in a physical and emotional relationship with SWAN ISLAND and THE AFTERLIFE. You should be too. I've recently been shown that reggae music is best at 6am in a pretty girl's living room. Who knew? I believe in booty dancing. It's important. TEAM DRESCH made a difference. SLEATER-KINNEY followed through. The PIXIES got it right. Would you like to dance with me to some NEW ORDER or GOSSIP or ANNA OXYGEN or VON IVA? My best friend and i sing KELLY CLARKSON together in the car and wake up to the same REGINA SPEKTOR song every morning. When all of my rowdy pals get together and drink beer, we jump up and down with linked arms to the sounds of GANG OF FOUR. If JAWBREAKER were a person, we would have conversations for hours and understand each other completely. Support all the new local energy and vibrant living that is happening right under your nose, in your neighborhood and in your eardrums.

Movies:

rad, say anything, best in show, pootie tang, this movie that my friend and i made where i pretended to be a reporter and made fun of people to their faces and they didn't even know it. moded! i wish had worn my fake mustache in that.

Television:

anything that involves girls going wild. things have been so crazy since girls started going wild. yes, that includes Saved By the Bell. lisa was totally a ggw.

Books:

I eat big words.

Heroes:

Pastor Dave Lopez. President of the Culver City chapter of the Optimists Club. Proud Father of three. He believes stongly in barbeques, clean jokes and ocean air.
