About Me

I bear and uncanny resemblance to this 70's comedian:

My Interests

Most Yuppie sports: Golfing, Tennis, Cycling, Snowboarding (you have to have money to participate in that sport, so it qualifies), Surfing (neo-yuppie). Also, I enjoy video games, preferably from the "Golden Age of Gaming," Atari-Sega Genesis. And documentaries, I watch a ridiculous number of documentaries (The Fog of War is the greatest documentary of all time, followed by The King of Kong, and Smartest Guys in the Room). And for the record, Michael Moore is the Anti-Christ of Documentarians, using tactics simliar to his right wing counterpart, Bill Oreilly, only he is dumber and more moridly obese. Although, I must mention I respect Bowling for Columbine, it was kind of like watching Elephant by Gus Van Sant.

I'd like to meet:

Sylvester Stallone, for making the greatest 80's montage:

Music:

At The Drive-In, Minor Threat, David Bowie, Bad Religion, NoFX, Nirvana, New Order, Iggy Pop, Bad Brains, Iron Maiden, Metallica (anything pre-black album), Elvis Costello, and Wu-Tang (Ghost-Face is kind of a bitch, but he redeems himself often),Absolutely Hate: Alice'n'chains,Cold Play, Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Alicia Keys, Live, Staind, and countless other bands, but these ones are unbearably bad.

Movies:

Over the Edge, Rocky IV, Halloween, Red Dawn, American Pyscho, Pyscho (the original), Wet Hot American Summer, The Graduate, Brazil, Requiem for a Dream, Shawshank Redemption, On the Waterfront, Vertigo, Rumblefish, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather I and II, Nixon.

Television:

The Wire, Rome, I, Claudius, Twin Peaks, Unsolved Mysteries, Rock of Love, actually, most VH1 reality shows, and Real Housewives of the OC, but not the NY, they don't party well.

Books:

Anything Huxley, Rand, Ellis, Kundera, or Heiland

Heroes:

Christopher Hitchens.
