Jalayne is currently in the UK to film a video for her new single ‘HEY HEY’ ready to hit the radio waves and TV early July across the UK. Signed with Right Recordings based out of London UK, she has released 2 singles along with a radio tour and looking forward to spending more time here. Her passion for life is intoxicating and moving. Her songs touch you and inspire you to listen, love and have a good time, but they haven’t come without sacrifice. She gave up a traditional childhood, a typical household and high school lifestyle to become the performer she is today. Her life has been one of constant change and growth. At the age of 14, Jalayne applied for a performance license, which allowed her into bars and clubs to perform with her father. Jalayne shared the stage with her family, singing songs that she loved to sing. “It all really started in the basement of our house with a karaoke machine and quickly moved to a ton of music equipment that we moved out to the garage. We lived across from the baseball park and rodeo grounds, so when we were rehearsing it wasn’t long before we had an audience in our driveway. This is where it all began.â€Not long after that, her parents sold their house and purchased a greyhound bus, which would be her family home for the next few years. Each member of the Tradler family had an assigned job in the refinishing of the bus. At that time, Jalayne took up education by correspondence instead of continuing with the traditional high school route, enabling her to work on the bus and tour with her family.A nomadic and dynamic life began for the headstrong and determined Tradler as her family moved around the country in the bus, stopping at venues as small as the local bar in small town Canada, to her performances at national venues and festivals including the world renowned Calgary Stampede. She quickly earned the title of ‘Alberta’s Country Angel’ and throughout her years on the road continued to win numerous talent contests and performing competitions. At 17, Jalayne was awarded the Alberta Country Music Youth Award where she accepted the award by Country Legend, Ian Tyson. After deciding to move on from the family tour schedule, she perfected her skills as a ‘triple threat’ in the theatre world. Jalayne made the critical decision to move from her country life in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, to the city of Toronto and attend Sheridan College’s Theatre Program. This hometown country girl quickly adapted to big city life. It was in Toronto that Jalayne teamed up with Daniel LeBlanc (thrice nominated CCMA record producer of the year) and started writing songs. Daniel was so impressed by Jalayne’s writing and vocal talents he encouraged her to get back into singing country music and recording an album. During this time, Jalayne started writing with Daniel and Creighton Doane of internationally acclaimed band, Harem Scarem. She was asked to showcase at Canadian Music Week as one of the featured Canadian Artists to watch. From here, she secured a booking agency and started entertaining old and new fans with her high-energy show across Canada. Her next step was to start working in Nashville. Since her time in Nashville she has connected with top writers and artists in the industry. Those premier highlights include working with Grammy Award winning artist Billy Dean and world famous Backstreet Boys, Brian Littrell. “Nashville has been very kind to me. I love the creativity the city brings to the table, it is a place you can go and connect with other writers and artists and have that community around you to share your music and songs, and in my case it’s usually something that makes you want to get up and have a good time.â€Jalayne's music is available on I-Tunes or through her website at www.jalaynetradler.com
