If you told him as a 13 year old rotting in a New York Juvenile facility Elite would be where he is now he would have never believed it. Shortly after leaving his beloved hometown of Brooklyn, New York, Elite began rapping the words he was writing while in that cell. Through his music and ghostwriting Elite has begun to work with artist such as Akon, Jae Millz, Ray-J, Fat Joe, Talib Kweli, Young Berg, and Boston's hottest DJ Clinton Sparks. Now with three mixtapes under his belt, Elite looks to release a street album titled HipHop's Laureate: The Voice of the People. Using the connections he's earned through ghostwriting he and his We Got Now/H.I.T.S camp aim to put hiphop back in its place.
