Along with his music industry, fashion and fine art imagery, Meyer is best known for his people photography, which is fine with him, since people are his favorite subject.Among his clients are Kiplinger’s Magazine, BKLYN Magazine, Scratch, BPM, Filter, Heeb, NRG, The Sentimentalist, Bernstein Artists, Inc., Black & White Fashion, Hebrew College, as well as others. He’s photographed top musical acts Franz Ferdinand, The Dandy Warhols, David Krakauer and top artists, such as Wangechi Mutu.Meyer has exhibited his work in galleries in New York City and elsewhere, as part of the Harlem Art Project (through Saatchi & Saatchi), been nominated for the prestigious Spider Award and mentioned in Digital Photo Pro Magazine.Meyer’s freelance projects include a portrait series of Brooklyn artists, documenting a chemotherapy patient’s road to health and shooting the city he loves in the series New Old New York.Steve Meyer lives and works in New York City.
