Fun down to earth people who have some of the same interests as me. I am always open to learning new things or hearing points of view. I write poetry so any other writers out there would be nice to meet and it need not be poetry.

Where else can you go to escape reality for 2 to 3 hours. As soon as the lights go out you are transported to any variety of places. You laugh, you cry, you think. For those few hours you become the movie, is'nt great.I like different movies and my favorites would be to long to list.Just the smell of the theather and tasting that first piece of popcorn you know it is the begining of an adventure of any kind.
Like I said my partner and I follow a few shows that help us unwind at the end of the day. It is like going to the movies because as you watch you forget about some of the stress of the day.We like all the CSI, Law & order, some reality shows. We also like the Medium and the new one ghost Whispers.Cold Case and Missing
Books oh boy what a joy they are. Again you can escape to anywhere your mind will take you.If a book is written well you become part of it and can not put it down to the vey last page is read.To hold a hard covered book in your hands you can smell the leather and feel the pages and you know their is an adventure waiting for you.I love books and reading them and some of my favorites are to long to list. I like action, drama, mysterys true stories. Books that move you, that touch your soul and after you have read them they become a part of you.
What defines a hero? Sure their are famous people out there whom I look up to. But I think the real heros live in our own towns and Cities. It can also be a family member, close friend, partner. Hell it can even be your pet who gives you love unconditionaly. My partner Kennethea is one of my heroes. She has stood by me in very diffucult times, she has been my truest of friends and she is my teacher. She sets goals for herself and her hard work and strong faith she will not quit untill she has reached that goal no matter the mountains she may have to climp. She gives so much to others and asks nothing in return. She will never see anyone go hungry so she has given countless meals to many. One of my other heroes where my parents. They taught me to always believe in my dreams. They taught me about hard work and seeing a job through. They taught me to never judge anyone for but for the grace of God you could be walking in their shoes.Last I would have to say my daughter Christine. For the times over the years and some of those times were hard she stood by me and was there for me. She also gave me great insight to my own spirtitual growth. I am very proud of her becoming a High Priestest and a Reki Master. We still enjoy spending time together and our long conversations at times make us both think. She is a good friend.
