Taran Guitars

My name's Rory Dowling, I'm an instrument maker based in Edinburgh. I make a small range of flat top acoustic guitars, I also do repair work and set ups.I've just finished two Ulladales, my open tuning specific guitar. I'm very pleased with these guitars, you can check out more details on my blog at www.taranguitars.blogspot.com. I'm currently working on a new instrument called the Tigra Beag. It's a medium sized guitar half way between an OM and a Jumbo. I'm designing this guitar to bridge the gap between soft and songful and loud and powerful.
