About Me

Myspace Editor
Pimp MySpace

I've been producing animation for nearly 14 years. Worked in NYC, Seattle, LA, and Tokyo. After always working for a company and being an employee for my whole career, I finally decided to strike it out on my own. Good times. Scary times. My time!Passion, truth, and fun are good things. I cook more than I eat out. I like people easily. But, I get mad silently. Forgiveness takes me too long. I'm working on it. If you don't like comics and superheroes, that's cool. But, I like 'em and I'm not sorry about it!

My Interests

A great meal, a deep film, a good cartoon, and a walk around the block. Oh yeah - stiff drinks, video games with close pals, and talkin' about comics.

I'd like to meet:

Not everyone is fine, but everyone deserves a shot.

Music:

Neo-soul moves me these days (Anthony Hamilton, Van Hunt, and Jamiroquai). But R&B has suddenly caught my ear. Despite myself I like Justin Timberlake and that damn good Beyonce song 'Irreplaceable' (thanks Cathy!). And to think I used to only listen to white people music like Styx, U2, Duran Duran, Led Zepelin, and The Cure. One other thing - I'm likely to play hardcore rap and hip-hop if the traffic is bad. What? What?

Movies:

Superbad, Eat Drink Man Woman, Fight Club, Yojimbo, Conan the Barbarian, Tampopo, Team America, Chung King Express, 300, Batman Begins, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Mind Game (Japanese animation), TRON, Lost in Translation, Nana, and the first Matrix.

Television:

AFRO SAMURAI, Heroes, Entourage, Battlestar Galactica, The Daily Show, Lost, The Office (British version), The Ultimate Fighter on SpikeTV, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Mushishi, and anything in HD... mmmm.. HD....

Books:

The Tipping Point, Blink, Freakonomics, JapanAmerica, A decade of Curious People and Dangerous Ideas, tons and tons of comic books (Marvel Zombies was SOOO fun) and manga (Lone Wolf and Cub, Death Note, and I even read Marmalade Boy), Rich Dad Poor Dad, Zen and Art of Motorcycle Maintenence, Story (Robert McKee), Hero of a Thousand Faces, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Need to read more...

Heroes:

Mom and Dad, my pal George, ROM (anyone remember him?), Godzilla and his original robot friend Jet-Jaguar, The Silver Surfer, and my big brother Alvin who beat-up the kid next door because he hit me with a rock when I was like 7 years old. Now THAT'S a hero.

My Blog

And here’s Yuko...!

A moody entry

It wasn't a brighter day like I was promised. The morning was colorless and the wind still rustled like it wasn't done saying what it needed to say the night before - as if the storm didn't already c...

Long Japan trip

It's been 10 days since I arrived and I haven't gotten a break since I touched down. I think it's good to work hard, but at times like this I wonder if I'm really built for it. People work so hard h...

I dreamed of spiders

Weird weird weird. I was covered with them - some as large as apples. I woke-up in a start. Couldn't get the feeling out of my skin for a good 10-15 minutes. This is no way detracts my nerdy excit...

Why I haven't been here in so long

The winter's seemed to run away and suddenly it's spring. I've spent the past few months running non-stop - which is a refreshing change to the eerie slowness of December and the oddness of not visit...
