About Me

A Jew, a Pakistani, a Kiwi and a Chinese guy walk into a pub.... but this is no joke.

Multi-ethnic London-based collective Kubotan have pooled their short attention spans and hatred of mediocrity and stupidity into a world-beating collection of tracks. The band combine the best parts of rock, punk and metal while burgling the houses of neighbouring dance, jazz and latin musos along the way.

A small army of pleasantly stunned gig-goers have thrilled to their genre-bothering antics - keep visiting this page for your chance to join them, or contact us and ask to be put on the mailing list!

And so....

I'm back from India, Dan's back from NZ, Mark has cut his hair and has a sensible suit, and Matt still won't have a party at his new (ish) flat. What a selfish bastard. Irrelevant facts aside, we are ...

Right, the tracks are nearly there. Still some tweaking to be done, but the first mixes are up on the site. Speaking for myself, I think we sound pretty fucking great, but then I would say that wouldn...

It's been a long time...

...but I am finally back on the net. How useful it is to be able to look at YouTube nostalgia and the like. I don't know how I managed without it. So anyway, we've done about five gigs now. I think th...
