Where do I start? I generally listen to mostly old punk/hardcore/Oi,(its pretty much the same music just a different scene.) Rockabilly, 60's Garage, Glam, Country, and Irish/ folk. The Ramones, Naked Raygun, Pegboy, Social Distortion, The Pogues, The Cramps, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, The Tiger Lillies, Circle Jerks, The Wipers, The Meatmen, La Peste, The F.U.'s, Gang Green, The Dicks, Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer, The Bussiness, The Adicts, Anti-Nowhere League, SubHumans, One-Way System, Iggy Pop and the stooges, T-Rex, David Bowie, Dean Martin, Tom Jones Wanda Jackson, Link Wray, Jack Scott, Dave Alvin, Charlie Feathers, Johnny Cash(obviously), Hank Williams (Sr.,Jr., III) The Sonics, Eric Burdon and the Animals, the Groupies Deadbolt, Angry Johnny, The Meteors, Thin Lizzy, Monster Magnet, so on and so forth. This just smattering of what I listen to, I don't think need to write everything down.

Just about anything by Terry Gilliam and Mel Brooks.

A Clockwork Orange, Rat Scabies and the Holy Grail, just about anything by Hunter S. Thomson, and great deal of non-fiction historical books that I don't feel like writing down.
Funny thing about heroes, they don't last very long.
