Hip-hop, Reggae, B-more, House, Electronica, Miami bass, Old school and the list goes on… DJ CLOCKWORK spins every genre of music and mixes them into mastery.Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio DJ CLOCKWORK was made to spin the turntables. While in his mother’s womb, his father would put headphones on his wife’s stomach at night priming their son for his love of music. As DJ CLOCKWORK grew up he had to overcome a lot of crime, drugs, and violence. His escape was his love of music. When he was seven years old he started taking piano lessons, and by the age of 15 DJ CLOCKWORK bought his first set of turntables. Piano was something that DJ CLOCKWORK'S mother wanted him to do, but after realizing what a DJ can do to a crowd, he knew what it was that he had to do.Recently DJ CLOCKWORK has worked with musical talents such as ?uestlove & The Roots, Talib Kweli, Mick Boogie, Roxy Cottontail, Steve Aoki, EDreys and John Doe of 1200 Hobos.You can catch DJ CLOCKWORK tearing down events and nightclubs all over the Greater Cincinnati Area: CUE Cincinnati, Bang Nightclub, Mixx Ultra Lounge, Clique Lounge, The Krafthaus, The Gypsy Hut, the Book Factory, and many other impromptu venues! In May CLOCKWORK will be the featured DJ at Bang Nightclub as well as spinning for an exclusive rooftop party in Manhattan. DJ CLOCKWORK tears up the turn tables every Saturday night from 8pm-10pm for the University of Cincinnati’s radio station Bearcast radio, which can be heard at bearcast.uc.edu.
