Oh, I'm interested in a lot of different things. I enjoy movies, music, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera....yanno, the usual. I love hanging with a group of women called "The Divas". We're all your regular type of women who just manage to carry ourselves with poise and grace. We don't expect anything from anyone except common courtesy, which is what everyone should expect. We also just have a good time when in each other's presence. I like novels, especially by Steven King and Anne Rice. I love to dive into a fictional world and not have to think about the real world while I'm reading. It tends to take the edge off I think. I also enjoy singing, though I don't do it as much anymore. I enjoy going to concerts, free or otherwise. I enjoy the vibe I get from seeing an artist perform their work...the passion that goes into it. It's great!!
Just a small request, y'all, um, drop me a message before requesting my friendship. It's nice to get a note and not just a request...I'm apt to turn you down. No offense, just being real. And now, to answer the question of who I'd like to meet....
People who just like to enjoy life. I don't want or need drama in my life, though I realize that at times it seems unavoidable. If you feel the need to put on a show when you're around me, then you don't need to be around me. Be true to yourself and then be true to me. Oh, yeah, I'd love to sit and talk to the Apostle Thomas...think about it.
Wu-tang Clan, Natalie Cole, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Onyx, Pharcyde, The Roots, Chicago Children's Choir, Gorillaz, the list goes on and on. I love a little bit of everything as everything has a way of touching me on some level.
Matrix trilogy, just about any Disney movie, The Magnificent 7, The Ten Commandments, again, too many to name as most are just fun to watch.
CSI, The West Wing, Law & Order: SVU, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the list goes on.....

The Dark Tower Saga by Steven King. By far his best writing ever. It uses every aspect of the human imagination and pulls on fears, desires, you name it, it's in there. Great read.
