About Me

DAYBREAKER is Chris Howard dreaming of baggy beats and swirly tunes and songs like nothing you ever heard but everything you ever liked. Combining the British sounds and rain-soaked streets of his childhood with the acoustics and sunshine of the American west, Chris creates pop-driven psychedelic symphonies that free your mind and make you groove.
Chris has been played by the good folks at XFM and has enjoyed some underground word-of-mouth success with two LPs, COMES TO US ALL and AS IF BY MAGIC, as well as an EP of raw tuneful carnage, BACK OUT WEST.
SEE THE WORLD FROM HERE is the brilliant new album from DAYBREAKER and is released worldwide for download from iTunes in September, 2008. A physical release will follow in October, 2008. A giant leap in thought and texture from his previous releases, the new LP plays like a road-trip through love and life under 21st century skies. The sound is organic, tuneful and flowing. In a quiet way, it is the creator's opus. An underground classic of rustic pocket symphonies ... welcome to our world.
