Born on 20th March 1977 in Basel with Italian (Lecce) & Spanish (Murcia) origin. I love music since I was a little boy.
I got addicted to pop music from the beginning of the 90's. I enjoyed to listen to mix versions so I saved all my pocket money to buy compilation mixtapes like "Max Mix" or "Italo Boot Mix".By the age of 14 I started to record my first mixtapes called "Mike Mix"
by using the two tape desks of my stereo equipment. I felt like the greatest DJ of all times and was so proud having discovered the ultimate way of mixing songs and creating own remixes. I spent hours and hours by pressing the pause, rewind, stop and record buttons and I was the happiest DJ every time a new mixtape was finished.Buy the age of 18 I was finally (because of my young looks) able to enter several clubs where the best DJ's in town were spinning their records. I was always fascinated about the way the DJ was playing his songs and using the turntables. The reason for spending hours and nights in the clubs was house music itself and the skills of the DJ's.Later I became influenced by the deep bass tracks from Dr. Dre, 2Pac and LL Cool J. Partys like "Touch the Soul" hosted by my man and best RnB DJ Hispanic Joe inspired me and gave me the love to this type of music.After a 3 month trip in San Diego/CA I finally got my own DJ set. I started to get my first bookings and saw my name printed on the flyers.
Because of my young looks I chose the name "Young Coco".We put together the Wasabiz Crew. I got bookings for the most popular clubs in town, clubs in Zurich and Germany. DJ's like Def Cut, Hispanic Joe and J-AX from Articolo 31 (Italy) hosted the nights with me.
Different own produced mix- and demotapes always gave me encouraging feedback and pushed me to keep on doing my job as a DJ. Even "Radio 105"
dropped the "Soul Boutique" cd produced and mixed by my boy DJ Soulchild and myself on air for whole Switzerland and we got masses of positive respond to that.Now I enjoy the music by spinning vynils in different clubs and being a DJ of the "Bravi Ragazzi Crew".Hope to see you soon,
