About Me

Just moved back to San Francisco after 12 amazing years in Seattle. I went to school for 8 years, yet I don't have the title, "Dr." in front of my name...I graduated from law school in '04, and received a masters in tax law (LL.M.)in '05, and now I practice corporate and securities law, et al. I like golf, tennis, skiing, and pretty much anything that lets me be outside. I like helping people, and seeing the smiles on their faces afterwards makes it all worth it. I would also like to run for public office someday (Ca. Governor, S.F. mayor, U.S. President)....and perhaps most impressive of all, I'm proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

My Interests

Irish coffees after a long day of skiing, the small secluded table in the back of the bar, premium spirits, ultra-premium shots, throwing half- dollar coins in the fountain (50 wishes is better than 1), Jamba Juice on a Sat. morning, ski cabins with a jacuzzi, the Farmer's Market, Giants baseball, sitting in a taxi cab listening to public radio, tailgating, stimulating conversation at 4 in the morning, outdoor breakfasts, hanging out at the beach, simple pleasures....

I'd like to meet:

A woman who's into the finer things in life: romantic walks on the beach, wine, slow kisses on a bluff during a lightning storm, good food, single-malt scotch, tennis, skiing, whispering sweet nothings.....

Music:

Not too much interest in that where I grew up. Otherwise, its the usual- Modest Mouse, Counting Crows, A Tribe Called Quest, Phish, Kid Rock, Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Neil Diamond, Classic 80s, Classical, Morris Day, Ray Charles, Lionel Richie, Huey Lewis, Ludacris, Old School Rap...

Movies:

Let's be realistic: Most of us pretty much all like the same movies (comedies, frat house movies, action, yada yada yada), and so I find it sort of redundant to name specific movies. Chances are what you like, I like. So let me identify what I didn't like. Thought "Sideways" was good, but not great. Figure it got so much praise because it was an Indie film. The movie I absolutely hated and can't figure out why it received so much critical acclaim? "Lost In Translation." I can't remember the last time I was so bored. Made me wish I was back in law school classroom. I don't like saying that because I like all the actors in it, but the movie just SUCKED.

Television:

Sportscenter, pretty much anything on CNBC, Las Vegas, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos, Hardball with Chris Matthews. With a few notable exceptions, I really can't stand 'reality' TV. I like Entourage as well.I HATE American Idol! Those people should go back to singing Karaoke on Tuesday nights at the local bowling alley (no offense to people who sing Karaoke at bowling alleys on Tuesday nights).

Books:

I have 2 words: Bottom Drawer.

Heroes:

My Parents, Grandparents, US Military.

Too much already

Is it just me, or have people gone overboard with creating their web pages, doing things like creating color combos that don't match and scrolling marquees that make absolutely no sense? Is ...
